Many new changes are coming to the Northeastern Welsh Pony Association for 2014. While many of our old friends/members have decided to move on, some of our newest members have stepped up to the plate to fill some big shoes.
We have opted to move our annual show back to our old stomping ground in Syracuse, New York and go back to a three day show involving many open classes, sport pony classes, kids classes and of course Welsh classes. Our greatest hope is to attract some new exhibitors (as always), but also bring back some old, friendly faces.
We are looking forward to a great 2014 show season and hope to see you back in Syracuse!

This year the location of our year end award banquet has been moved. The 2012 year end awards will be held at Brooks Bar-B-Q located in Oneonta, NY, just off exit 16 of Interstate 88. More details will follow. At our board meeting today, Sunday October 7th, 2012, we finalized the location as well as what fabulous prizes will be passed out. We hope you can make it!

There's a lot to look forward to with the 1st NEWPA pointed show of the year. We know your ponies are shedding, and you're tired of all this rainy weather, but forget about it and come have some fun with the NEWPA crew! The NEWPA board meeting will be held on February 20th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Utica College. Drinks and food are available for $5, so don't forget to bring money to enjoy this all you can eat and drink offer. The board members will dicuss show matters, and information following the meeting will be posted accordingly.

NEWPA members gathered at the Orchard Vali Country Club near Syracuse, New York on Saturday, November 20th. Members were treated to a great "all you can eat" brunch buffet. The food was fantastic, and good times were had by all. The results to the NEWPA Year End Awards can be found here. If you were unable to attend the banquet, your ribbons and awards will be sent to you soon.
